What's Up

November First Thursday

Our First Thursday in November was one to remember. The very popular local indie/rock band The Dimes performed and dazzled the crowd. They’re definitely going places. They entertained while Jason Graham caught the eyes of hundreds that came. His art is a blend of “where the wild things are” and “surrealism.”

The Dimes are wildly melodic, inherently quirky and known for causing breakouts of unexpected hand clapping and foot stomping among fans at their shows.
Stunning voices over sweet guitars and phenomenal lyrics define them.

Jason Graham’s show, titled Riders of Nothing Nest, consists of a mixture of illustrations and paintings rendered on paper, wood, and canvas of all sizes. It showcases the range of Jason's art in both technical proficiency and style. His art will be displayed for the ENTIRE month of November.

We partnered with Voices for Silent Disasters again. Portland’s annual humanitarian concert series for Mercy Corps. With support from the voices team and other inspired people, their goal is to raise $100k by December of 2008. We raised a lot of money during our event and look forward to working with them in the future. Come by and show your support if you’re interested.

To everyone’s delight, Widmer crashed the party once more with the choices of complimentary Drop Top and Hefeweizen. EVERYBODY WINS!

Be sure to pop in for the next First Thursday on December 4th from 7pm to 10pm.
